Why I’m Running for County Commissioner

I’m running for Pender County Commissioner because I believe our community deserves strong, steady leadership that puts people — not politics — first. As a lifelong resident of Pender County area, a veteran, a public servant, and a devoted husband and father, I’ve spent my life serving others and standing up for what’s right.
Through my roles managing public assets and overseeing emergency communications for our county, I’ve seen firsthand what works — and what doesn’t — in local government. One thing is clear: we must bring stability and common sense back to county leadership. The chaos and infighting we’ve seen in recent years only holds us back. It’s time to rise above the noise and get back to doing the people's work.
I’m committed to ensuring smart, responsible growth, safeguarding taxpayer dollars, supporting our schools and first responders, and protecting the rural character that makes Pender County home. More importantly, I’ll work to restore respect, transparency, and professionalism to our county government — because good leadership isn’t loud or divisive, it’s steady, honest, and focused on results.
This campaign will be about the people of Pender County and not party politics. I’m running to bring integrity, accountability, and calm leadership back to the County. Together, we can remove the chaos and build a stronger, more united Pender County.
I believe in the principles that have long guided our party-faith, family, and freedom. As President Ronald Reagan once said, “The future doesn’t belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.” That is why I have stood up to run for County commissioner for District 3 and I ask for your support today.
